reading-glasses

About my collection of reading glasses.  Oscar Wilde said, “Man is least himself when he talks in his own person.  Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth.”

My selection of reading glasses gives me license to speak the truth as I see it through the many characters (or masks) that are within me – one person with many personas.  Some people might be quick to label this a disorder (multiple personalities).  Others might recall the Trinity of Christendom (God, Holy Spirit, Jesus) – the three-in-one unified Godhead, but distinctly three.  Or, maybe I’m an actor/essayist in a one-woman play, moving fluidly from one identity to another and back around, full circle.

As promised, my blog material – via my selection of reading glasses, will always be random and varied, both in writing style, content, and serious-to-silly ratio.

Many of my ideas arrive via images or in dreams. Therefore, some of my posts will include a photo (many of which are of the flora and fauna of my immediate environs) which may have inspired the idea for the post. Some posts will be photo essays, the ideas in the essay entirely inspired by the photos.

Please enjoy – and leave your comments if you like.
