Mushrooms – A Photo Essay

I notice wild mushrooms – obviously, given the photos that follow. I relate to them being linguistically referred to as sponges. I am an emotional/spiritual sponge. I soak up the moods of everyone around me. And, I’m sensitive to the Spirit of God – Who I believe is, among other things, a divine Prepositional Phrase: beneath, above, around, and in me – a sponge-mushroom-fungus. No, delete that fungus part – it’s just not a pretty word (do you think of toenail fungus when you think of fungus?). I mean really, who wants to be thought of as a fungus. Don’t get that stuck in your head. Instead, think sponges – they’re cool: living, breathing, organic, absorbent creatures that are soft when wet, but tough. Now, think of me and enjoy the photos that follow and think of me some more.
